Tea rooms serving afternoon tea with scones and sandwiches usually require a reservation, while boba shops, juice bars and smoothie shops are walk-in and quick. Kava and kombucha bars are a newer category, and loose-leaf tea stores sell blends, teaware and gifts, often with a tasting counter. 8/30/26 Sunday night desert and tea with a friend. Inspiration for this chain is French and Chinese. Purple Yam soufflé is my go to with vanilla ice cream. The hot and cold combination is spot on. Reminds me of Turkish baklava with ice cream and tea. Lavender milk tea is also my go to and being able to choose the sugar level helps tremendously. I wish they can have more options for reduced sugar for the ice cream and crepe cakes. They have alternative version of the fat that is kosher/halal so I was finally able to try the crepe cake. Went with the durian and it was great. Just wish we had a reduced sugar option. Alex, the manager was also very friendly and engaging.

One of my favorite dessert spots in Queens! Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, but their chocolate lava cake is truly next level — perfectly warm, rich, and indulgent with that dreamy molten center. Their tea selection pairs beautifully with the desserts. The decor inside is super cute and cozy, making it the perfect spot for a dessert date or a sweet catch-up with friends. If you’re craving something sweet with a relaxing vibe, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here almost every day for the past two weeks and always sat by the window. Today, a waitress I had never seen before spoke to me very rudely, saying that one person is not allowed to sit at a large table, even though the place had just opened and was not busy. I explained this had never been an issue before, but she insisted it was “the rule.” I left immediately and won’t be coming back. A good environment means nothing if the service is this poor. Loved once, but goodbye.

I honestly loved this spot! The ambiance is beautiful, the decor is super cute with the floral walls, just a really nice vibe for hanging out. The staff were also great, super professional and friendly throughout the whole service. As for the food, definitely don't skip the appetizers. The octopus balls were a highlight, really tasty! We tried a bunch of desserts, and they really nailed the sweetness level; nothing was too sugary or heavy. I did feel like the Asian-style desserts (like the crepe cakes) were better than the American ones, so I’d recommend sticking to those. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend!

Visiting Prince Tea House for the first time and I was genuinely surprised by how beautiful the atmosphere is. The place feels like a miniature European palace designed for afternoon tea lovers. I tried the brown sugar boba mille crepe cake, and it was absolutely phenomenal. I also had my eye on the taro flavor for the next time I am coming over. The fruit toast was delicious as well. If you’re stopping by alone, I recommend getting their afternoon tea set if you just want something light to munch on in the afternoon. I’m glad Flushing has such a lovely spot for sweets and desserts. I’ll definitely be back!
